Blenheim Airport (Marlborough Airport) has a single on-site car park for short and long term visitors. There is an area directly in front of the terminal to drop off passengers or baggage before using the car park or leaving the airport. Vehicles must not be left unattended in the drop off area.

There are spaces near the terminal for first 30 minute parking at no charge. As parking spaces are limited in this area it is strictly monitored. The car parks are monitored for overstaying or for parking in car parks not designated for public use. Offending vehicles may be towed away at the vehicle owner's expense.

The parking charges are as below:

Times Charges
First 30 minutes Free
30 - 60 minutes $3
Per hour thereafter $3
Daily (maximum charge) $17 (per 24 hrs)
Maximum weekly charge $99/week

Ticketless Parking

The Airport now offers ticketless parking with a license plate recognition system. Upon entry, the system reads your license plate, and when exiting, you simply enter your plate number and pay at the machine using cash or card. The barrier lifts automatically upon recognized payment. If needed, payment can also be made at the exit gate using paywave or credit card, without a receipt. Parking fees are unchanged, and the system includes 30 minutes of free parking and part-day charging for cost savings.
