The comfort and safety of all passengers in Invercargill Airport is important. As well as the usual check in and baggage claim facilities there are pleasant waiting areas with great views of arriving and departing aircraft. The WIFI access is available throughout the terminal. Baby changing and nursing facilities are available opposite the main public toilets in the Terminal.

The Airport Terminal building opens at 5:00 am Monday to Saturday, and at 7:00 am on Sunday.

Invercargill Airport has customer service staff working in the parking area and in the terminal. They ensure that the drop-off zone does not become congested, help with parking issues and other enquiries. A New Zealand Post box is located by the main entrance of the terminal.

The Airport Café serves light meals and snacks. They also have a small supply of travel necessities and gifts for your convenience. There are no retail shops or duty free facilities at the Invercargill Airport but ATMs are available here.

There is an ultra-modern design Regional Lounge own and operate by Air New Zealand in this Airport.

Invercargill Airport now also has 2 meeting rooms available to hire that would be suitable for board meetings, interviews, seminars, workshops and conferences. Catering can be arranged if required.
