Nelson Airport's new terminal opened in October 2019. Stage One will see the creation of a new road leading to the terminal and new car-parking for rental vehicles. It has increase car parking by 300 spaces to cater for 900 vehicles and create more room for taxis, buses and rental cars.

There is an ultra-modern design increased check-in area and departure lounge, new retail space, double the number of toilets and more food and beverage offerings.

• Free WIFI (connect to "Airport WIFI" when in the terminal building)
• TV screens
• Air New Zealand Regional Lounge
• Car Rental kiosks
• Tourist information brochures
• Convenience Stores

Please contact your airline directly if you require a wheelchair while at Nelson Airport.

The Airport operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
