Kapiti Coast Airport (Paraparaumu Airport) operates Short Term and Long Term
car parking facilities controlled by "Pay & Display" machines. Tickets need to
be purchased from a parking machine upon arrival and displayed on the car
dashboard whilst in the car parks.
Payment for the machines are by:
• Credit Card (Visa and MasterCard only)
• Coins
Please note the machines do not have the ability to give change or a refund.
Please read the payment instructions on the machines carefully.
The parking charges are as below:

• Short Term Parking : $1 for first hour, $2 per hour thereafter to
a maximum of $8 per 24 hours. • Long Term Parking : flat fee of $8 per 24 hours applies. (Locked at night) |
Vehicles without a valid parking ticket may be clamped or towed away at the
vehicle owner's expense.
The Long Term car park is secured and open during
airline scheduled operating
hours only. Generally, normal car park opening hours are typically:
• Monday - Friday: 5:45 am - 8:20 pm
• Saturday: 6:00 am - 11:25 am
• Sunday: 3:30 pm - 7:40 pm
IMPORTANT: Operating hours are subject to change with airline schedule variation
and holiday periods. Please refer to the respective
airline scheduled on
their website.
Airline ground staff close the car park after the arrival of the last flight of
the day and all passengers have retrieved their vehicles. To accommodate
passengers on a cancelled or diverted evening flight, airline ground staff will
keep the Long Term car park open longer as appropriate.
After hours access to the Long Term car park is only by prior arrangement with
airport management, or by priority access which is subject to a $20 call-out
fee. This fee must be paid at the time of vehicle retrieval.

Vehicles parked in both the Short Term and Long Term car parks are parked at the
owner's risk. The Airport Management accepts no responsibility for any damage or
theft.
