Wellington Airport offers secure and convenient car parking space with
several options. Short term parking option is the most popular options, it is
within 2 to 5 minutes walking distance to airport terminal.
Long term parking is located a short distance from the terminal, the long term
parking offers value for longer stays and can save you some money for daily
stays. Parking spaces are not pre - allocated so you can park in any available
space. It is within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to airport terminal. A
complimentary bus operates 24 hours, 7 days a week from the long term car park
to the main terminal and back.
To accommodate people dropping off and pickup travelers, express pick up and
drop off zone are available in front of the terminal. It is free for 10 minute
grace period for pick - ups and drop - offs. Parking charges apply for vehicles
that stay in the car park beyond 10 minutes from the time of entry. Motorbikes
pay the same parking rates as vehicles.
The parking fees in Wellington Airport are as below:
Premium Secure
The Premium car park is located on the ground and mezzanine levels of the new
multi-level car park building.
Conveniently located for ease of parking, Premium Secure provides covered,
weather protected parking with additional security camera monitoring of all
vehicles with its own dedicated entrance and exit.
Please note there is a 2.1m height restriction for this car park.

Long Term Parking
The long term parking offers value for longer stays and can save you some
money for daily stays. Parking spaces are not pre-allocated so you can park
in any available space.
A complimentary shuttle operates 7 days a week approximately every 10-15
minutes from the long term car park to the main terminal and back. The
shuttle runs during terminal opening hours and services all domestic and
international flights. (Please note, during weekends the shuttle has a
30-minute break at 0930hrs and 1730hrs, before resuming approximately
15-minute intervals.)
The terminal stop is located on the ground floor of the main terminal
outside of door H and the rental car kiosks. The long term shuttle stop is
located outside of the long term car park just to the north of the entry.
The Long Term Shuttle is not set up for baby car seating. You should contact
the Airport on (04) 385 5143 to make alternative arrangements.

Payment
Payment can be made by credit card or payWave at the barrier arm as you
leave the car park. Or with EFTPOS at the pay station located in the Long
Term waiting room area. The Long Term Car Park is cashless.
