Departure Procedures (International Flight) in New Zealand Airports

Step 1: Passengers check their boarding passes at the check-in counter. The number of your check-in counter can be verified on the Departure Flight Board or the flight status can be checked via online system from the Airlines website.

Step 2: Going through security inspection at departure gate, passengers present their boarding passes and their identity documents (Passports) at the security inspection for International departures.

a. Present your traveling documents.
b. Place your belongings, liquids, electronic devices (e.g. laptops) into a tray to pass through an x-ray scanner.
c. Walk through a metal detector.
d. Go through the hand scanner for body check

Step 3: Go through Passport Control.

Step 4: Proceed to departures hall and wait for boarding with your boarding pass.
